We are over the moon and so grateful that our outdoor table design is featured today on Occasions online.
We opted for blue and white mismatched china for each place setting. The blue and white color of the dinnerware is so classic, in my opinion you cannot go wrong with this palette as it never goes out of style.
Being outdoors, it makes sense to extend the colors in nature onto the able, and we achieved this with the use of the rather dramatic leaf garland. We then added simple white flowers onto the garland and in containers on the table to soften the look of the leaves.
We also used silver as the metal accents on the table, for example the flatware selection, tapered candles and floral containers.
Considering my love for drinking tea, I also incorporated a small tea stand with antique silver teapots, blue and white china and my favorite item, teaspoons with blue and white handles from the company Spode.
